🔧 Job Summary:

The Production Manager is a vital member of our team, overseeing daily operations and working hands-on with department leads to ensure materials move accurately and efficiently through our facility.

You’ll guide our production teams to improve quality, reduce lead times, and maintain a safe, clean, and productive environment. This role plays a big part in our commitment to serve customers with excellence—and to support a team culture built on trust, accountability, and shared success.

📋 Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding internal service by keeping production running smoothly and reliably.

  • Supervise and support team leads across departments (e.g., doors, metal, trusses).

  • Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and material flow to meet delivery deadlines.

  • Monitor job progress and quality assurance metrics; adjust as needed.

  • Identify and remove roadblocks to productivity—tools, processes, materials.

  • Communicate clearly with sales, yard, and delivery teams to stay aligned.

  • Train, coach, and mentor team members with a focus on growth and safety.

  • Lead by example in maintaining clean workspaces and safe practices.

  • Participate in production planning, inventory management, and team meetings.

✅ Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, shop, or construction environment.

  • Strong people skills—able to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable.

  • Natural problem-solver who thrives on improving systems and workflows.

  • Comfortable juggling priorities while staying focused on safety and quality.

  • Familiarity with production tracking, scheduling, and job costing tools a plus.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Self-starter with a humble attitude and servant leadership mindset.

Compensation: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
